We are headed to Yellowstone in our camper. It reminds me of a Desi & Lucy episode. It took a lot of work to get ready but we should have lots of fun.

Day 4 & 5 - Thursday & Friday

We had a great day in Jackson Hole on Thursday.  Sandye & Brenda went shopping downtown and Jack & I rested from all the driving earlier in the week.  We have come nearly 1350 miles in 3 days.   Jackson Hole is a neat place.   I would like to fly back out here sometime to spend a long weekend.  Jackson is in the Snake River Valley.   There is rafting, fly fishing, horse back riding, snow sking in the Winter and many other outdoor activities that one could enjoy.  And the shopping.  WOW!.

On Friday morning we left for West Yellowstone, MT.   The trip was only about 150 miles but the road took us through the Teton National Park and through Yellowstone.   We spent most of the day getting to West Yellowstone.  We made many photo stops and I will be posting pictures plus the daily slide show.  Sandye & I are going to work on picture labels first.

The drive through the parks was fantastic.   We will be exploring Yellowstone over the next two days.  Our base of operation is West Yellowstone MT which is a neat little town at the west gate of the park.
